We are excited about what the Lord wants to do at West Side! We are putting together a team that will gather information and data in multiple areas that will be assimilated by the Director of the Lexington Baptist Association. The team will then pray over, as well as consider and evaluate those recommendations and then bring them to the church for a discussion and a vote. All during this time, each member is being asked to pray for the Lord to reveal His will for our church, as well as participate in the 40 days of Prayer as we begin this journey together. If you would like a copy of the booklet, please contact the office or email me at ray@westsidewc.org, and we will get you a booklet. We are starting the 40 days of prayer on Sunday, March 20th.
Also, if you are able, we will be having small group member meetings to gather information from those who call West Side home. Sunday March 20th and Sunday March 27th, from 2pm to 5 pm, we are encouraging you to sign up for a 1 hour time slot. 5-7 people will be in each group and will share their “Jesus story,” the story behind how they became a believer and their “Church story,” why did they come to West Side and have continued to worship here.
